Our lab focuses on understanding the cellular and molecular basis of human brain development and disease. By combining the use of emerging models of the human brain with single cell omics approaches, we are aiming to identify cell type specific disease mechanisms, and above all, new treatments for human neurodevelopmental disorders.

We are deeply committed to effective training, mentoring and career development of the next generation of neural stem cell biologists. We are enthusiastic for trainees excited about science to join the team! Please contact Dr. Giorgia Quadrato (quadrato@usc.edu) for more information on specific projects.
